Deborah Smith brings over two decades of personal experience and Spirit led wisdom to her work with women walking through addiction, trauma, and emotional healing. After entering alcohol treatment herself in 1994, Deborah journeyed through years of recovery through AA and Celebrate Recovery. Her own healing from childhood sexual abuse and deep personal trauma fuels her passion to help other women find freedom of the emotional and spiritual wounds.
In 2001, Deborah earned her certificate in Caring for God's People from the American Association of Christian Counselors, equipping her with biblical and practical tools to walk alongside those in need. Since 2002 she has counseled and coached women by creating a safe, grace-filled space that offers hope and encouragement to process the pain and discover healing through the redemptive power of Christ.
Deborah is especially enthusiastic about the Choose Freedom approach, which aligns powerfully with her belief that true transformation happens when we renew our minds in God's truth and love of Jesus. She has seen first-hand how this biblically grounded, hope filled pathway can help women break free from shame, guilt, addiction, and self-doubt. It’s the Great Exchange, God’s thoughts for our thoughts that always bring the victory.
Deborah's passion is to help women encounter the pure and holy love of a Faithful God, and to trust deeply in his Word, as it refreshes the spirit, and restores the soul & body. She gently leads them to release shame and guilt, exchanging old negative belief patterns, and embrace a new identity grounded in truth, healing, and freedom in Christ. Her approach is deeply personal, Spirit-led and rooted in the belief that no past is beyond the reach of God's grace and the power of his resurrected life.
